Just back from a short break over by Gairloch in Wester Ross with very few photos to show for it as the weather was grey and the light was dead most of the time we were there.

Managed to grab this shot of the view across The Minch to Harris from just outside the cottage we were staying in as the sun went down on Monday night.

Many thanks to all those of you who voted on my last upload while I was away.

Welcome back Sue, and this is really art decor Smile I can imagine this gracing many a wall, I really like this, and a very VERY large print would look great on the right wall in the right house, brilliant!

Gentle layers of light Sue, it's a hard place to plan for as I well know to my cost. The weather just now is heart breaking for landscapers.

Welcome back Sue, sorry to hear about your weather and lack of photos, but hope you had a good holiday. You certainly had a wonderful view from your cottage, anyway. A beautiful capture, and the recession of colours really gives it a feeling of depth.

I'd put this on my wall any day of the week (might have a bit of trouble from the Boss about taking one of his down, though!) Wink
