Happy Weekend peopleGrinGrin
Here is the "Prequel" to the Harvest series that has just finished. I said yesterday that I was undecided about this upload, But due to Dave's (Whiterose1) inspiration for the title yesterday, I am giving it a goGrin Thanks DaveWinkGrin
This was taken in June when we went to Waddinton................. Its a rare occasion that I upload a mono..... I struggle because I love colour so much. Anyway this is a true mono, not a conversion, of a field of young wheat (I hopeWink If I am wrong....apologies.)
A great big thankyou for votes and comments on the series, I hope you like my prequel and thanks Dave for the title inspirationGrin

Quite amazing the wheat looks like silver against the dark sky and hedge row with trees, a very well taken and processed photo, you should do more, like it, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Horizon on the third, and the spikey silvery crop contrasts so well with the smooth, grey leaden sky. Excellent mono, Diane, and amongst the best of the series.

An extremely soft and dreamy feel to this wonderfully composed monochrome, and one which dreams are made from.

The dark, brooding sky contrasts with the light and almost silvery field. An effective and well chosen subject for a b&w image, Diane. Hopefully you will find more images suited to b&w as I am sure you will enjoy using that medium.

A lowering sky and a field of grain hit by a burst of silvery sunlight - a beautiful composition and a great mono shot, like you Diane, I love colour but this one definitely shines ... Carol Grin

The mono works very well Diane. The silvery crop contrasts nicely with that dark sky.
