Good morning everyone. Thanks for the votes and comments and especially to Nigel (Nigeve1) and Tony (Termite53) for their UA's very much appreciated. This morning i have uploaded 4 shots of the a harvest mouse from Wild Arena. We had a bit of a problem with excitable teenage mice and so this was a younger one who was still quite lively and very tiny no bigger than the end of my thumb(not counting his tail).

Version 1 is my favourite - such pretty little critters! (Version 2 looks a little soft). Smile

Yes I agree Karen I found it really difficult to find my central focus point at times and so I think I missed his eye on this oneSmileSmile Or it might be motion blur.

A really lovely image, I was surprised from looking at the Exif details you was using manual mode which I think is an achievement in itself, I use manual for my landscapes not for something that is moving quite fast. Well done Smile

The focus is good on the eyes on all but v2, Hilary, no mean feet given the size of the wee beastie Smile

We were under studio flash lights and I take no credit for the settings as the shutter speed was suggested to match with operation of flash only thing I really had to worry about was aperture.SmileSmile
