I have used three of my photos in photoshop elements to create the final image.
The bottom half of this ancient celtic cross was found in the grounds of Rivington Church near to a secret tunnel the monks used to use.
Legend has it a monk was using the tunnel fleeing to hide the Church silverware from invaders, he got stuck his body never found maybe still in the tunnel with the Church silver wanting peace.
Many sightings have been seen of a ghostly monk near the headless cross, that is near the millstone pub in Anderton. The top half of the cross has never been found.
