A juvenile Peregrine Falco peregrinus, taken on Tuesday at the The Hawk Conservancy Trust

A very enjoyable day indeed, though the light was a tad harsh at times

We also made it to East Blean for the Heath fritillaries yesterday (might upload one tomorrow), but had to cancel today's Yorkshire trip for the Kestrels, due to personal reasons - actually been at the quacks with a right fore arm the size of a football - allergic reaction to a bite from yesterday morningSad
Well worth it though, to see and photograph one of our rarest butterfliesWink

Spent a few hours today at my local patch (Twywell) and spotted the first Marbled white of the seasonSmile
Unfortunately the weather has turned, so it maybe Sunday before there are a few about

I love the backward glance, Adrian, and seeing the beautiful back feathers. The peregrine is certainly an attractive bird.
