In Hindu religion, Goddess Durga happens to be married to Lord Shiva. Worshiping of Goddess Durga is the largest celebration in the state of West Bengal in India which goes on for 4 days. The occasion is celebrated all through West Bengal in a greater way, and indeed, not only in India but across the world where Hindus reside. Last year in one such location in Calcutta the theme adopted was "Buddhism" & Buddhist monks were invited from all over India.
