Took this shot whilst at Pickering traction engine rally. As the light was fading and could not get near to what I wanted to photograph I noticed this chap sat on the grass covered from head to toe in amazing colourful tattoo's and piercings.I went over to talk to him and asked to take his photograph. He had differnt kind of piercings in each ear.I took various close-ups of him. This was the first time I used my new flash as it was getting dark.Thought that this would suit colour selection to help show of the colours of his tattoos.Hope you all have a good weekend.
Thanks for looking

Great work the mono with the selective colour works incredibly well with this kind of image. Photographic art of body art well done.

Great use of selective colouring, and the composition is super.

Thanks so much for your comments they are really appreciated. This chap was really nice and really under the circumstances he was kind to let me photograph him.I put him in the spot light as lots of people were looking and wondering what I was doing I suppose.I asked him if he felt uncomfortable but he said he had, had a beer so felt aok about it and happy that some one was interested in his tattoos and piercings. He also was telling me it was a nice change to meet a stranger and converse nicely and how rude and blatant people have been with their comments towards him when in the street etc.Such a shame that some people judge others in that way,I was always taught "you dont judge a book by its cover" and from my conversation and time with him I found him very nice, quietly spoken and a real family man. Thanks once again to you all.
