Monday evening up on Froggatt Edge.

The heather looks really good now, and for once, the sky and light played ball!

I would tweek the levels and saturation and would have used a ND grad (or if you did, a stronger one)

I think the levels and the saturation is fine, I like the more natural tones I think it fits the image well. As for increased ND usage I think wouldn't benefit the image the clouds in the sky are a good darkness to add punch.

Sorry Alex, but this is excellent work. Natural colours, superb clarity and the exposure (even the sky!) is spot on Wink

Love that warm glow Martin.
Derek

A cracking shot Martin, beautifully crisp and clean with fabulous light and natural colours. I also agree with the others here, the saturation is just right and the exposure is perfectly balanced across the frame.......each to their own I guess Wink

Some view Martin, the heather has that glow to add to the landscape.

One of the finest bits of light we've had in months. Glad to see you were out getting the goods mate, and this scores highly as with the rest of your work.

I think the exposure levels are perfect and a stronger filter would've been too much. A fantastic image, one of the better ones I have seen shot from that areaGrin

Cheers all. Must admit, I believed the levels and sky exposure were both fine for the scene.
