This will probably go down like Bobby Crush on an oil rig, but bugger it, were allowed the odd dodgy upload once in a while
As most of you know by now I have an IR-CCTV system in the garden that records the wildlife that were very lucky to have visit us, The computer controlled system allows me to take very low resolution snapshots of anything that goes on just by making a click of the mouse button. I've captured loads of moments like the ones shown above, but up until yesterday other than keeping the images for my own records and posterity I wasn't quite sure what to to do with all them all. Then it came to me, why not put them altogether into some sort of montage and hey presto, Bob's your uncle this is what I came up with. It amazes me sometimes what you end up doing when having another bout of insomnia
Will you like, will it go down well?......Hell I don't know, but thought it was worth a punt regardless ![]()
Thanks to everyone for their kind comments on yesterday's dragonfly......Hope everyone has a good day, I've an appointment at hospital again today, nothing to worry about but I'll catch up with everyone when I get back, That's unless I've been crucified for posting this iffy montage ![]()

As I have not been able to follow this thread, not having the correct form of flash player or whatever it's called (I am totally ignorant about these things) it is great to se your nocturnal visitors in this way, so the idea of this montage is great, Ade.
Ronnie.
You are in a negative frame of mind this morning Ade and there is no need to be, this is an original monochrome montaage that has recorded the events occurring in your garden at night for all to see. As Ant has said you have not been able to outfox Mr Fox in 15a, he's looking rather wary and with good reason too no doubt, I'm sure he's anticipating you charging out of the house like an angry rhinoceros waving your stick at him!![]()
Love it, it's different, interesting and you are a lucky blighter to have such an interesting garden.
Andy
The strength of the image is in the presentation, Ade. A very good selection of nocturnal ramblings (notice I've avoided a very obvious reference there
!!!).
Dave
So very interesting..........I could sit for hours (in fact I do) in the garden watching all the wildlife..............I love this.........dare I say I'd like to see more of your nightlife.........![]()

Quote: You're really enjoying your camera Ade
I have to say the camera's works really well, not bad for something that only cost £40! Ok it's not HD quality by any stretch of the imagination and I've added extra cameras to the system to cover the nest boxes, but as you rightly say Chris I am enjoying it. It's something else to keep me out of trouble and stimulate my mind, although I am wondering if I'm slowing turning by garden into a nature reserve. The latest thing being discussed here is Bat Boxes......Yes we have them too!

Terrific images Ade. I like you was awake in the night................. Foxes howling or whatever that terrible noise is they make
They where having a beano round our car in the street if you please............ I had to close the window. Tut![]()
Still think they are lovely animals though![]()
Diane
A neat montage, Ade, showing the night-time happenings in your nature reserve.
Cracking shots your lucky to get wildlife like that in your back garden
Quote: Almost a BBC broadcast Ade, can image Sir David Attenborough giving a commentary![]()
Ron.
Be careful what you wish for Ron, the Big O could be appearing on our TV screens later this autumn! Is that what you want, the Big O beamed live into your front room on a 42" flat screen TV in HD?!![]()

Well you all just missed a treat, me on camera releasing a young hog that we'd just checked over for weight and health. Pleased to report he was really healthy, although a little light at 571g, but that's enough for hibernation and as he was so healthy looking we saw no point in stressing him any further and thus released back in the garden unharmed. ![]()

Ronnie,
on a Mac you go to this
http://www.camstreams.com/viewer-wmp.asp
page and download the flip4mac plugin.
then restart Safari... and click on Ade's link again. It works ![]()
Very nice idea Ade.. Well simulated ![]()
My only problem is that our connection at home is very very slow. At work it works fine but the little buggers only stack up prickly Zzzzs while I work!

I hope you didn't do a tribute to Bobby Crush on your Yamaha keyboard, if you did I'm glad I gave the webcam a miss tonight!![]()
