I haven't changed the colours. I wish I had got all of the blowtorch in the shot. A bit of rust appearing in places. V2 is a closer take of the tools on the bench.

The light makes this - beautifully lit, and nice detail.
Anne
A splendid find with some excellent tones Pamela- the natural light draws the eye over to the right hand side of the picture where there are some interesting shapes and tools. The very dark bottom left by contrast is quite difficult to work out, and as such I find myself going back to that rather too often, so I wonder if a little lightening there would help
Helen

What a lucky girl you are Pamela to discover a ''treasure trove'' like this.I have been telling my wife for years that diamonds are NOT a girls best friend !! Far better with all the goodies here !! Not only rust, but some very nice ''antique'' tools too !!
Excellent shots.
Mick.
An interesting collection of tools, you have captured some nice detail but I have to agree with Carol about the bottom left been a little, but still a super image

Thankyou for your interesting comments.
HELEN & GLYNNIS: I have done a V3 with the bottom left corner lightened a bit. The bench shaded this area, but I quite liked the graduation from dark to light. However, having done the adjustment, I think you are probably right.

I like what you have done in v3 Pamela. Obviously as you mouse over, the eye is initially drawn to that corner as there are changes there. Having spent a while however with v3, I do find that the eye can rest more easily with the light and the detail it exposes.
Certainly worth the effort of another version in my opinion.
Helen
Excellent detail in these images, and I do think that V3 works better. Lovely work!
Carol
I prefer V2 Pamela - lovely textures in the collection of tools.
I have been looking at the V3 addition. I don't think you have quite lifted the light in that corner enough.
I have taken it a little further in a mod - I think the extra light projects the tool bench better but still leaves some shadow.
Brian.

Thankyou, Albert and Brian, for your modifications.
A very beautiful set of images, Pamela, love the tones & textures in these. Think I prefer V3 to V1, with the lightened left corner.

So amazing that these are handheld at that shutter speed, Pamela. The image is so fine and smooth all over! Especially in V2.
Utterly utterly exquisite light...gosh...and I find that the dark bottom left corner sits perfectly well as is. 'Cos that's the way the light has played into and across the room. It's like the ends of some tools which are in shadow - they are so 'cos that's the way the light is.

An interesting set of images of this tool shop, the shear detail you've captured is terrific. I thought Mikbee would be tickled pink by them
