Taken beside my patio window as ever, but really this was more an exercise in learning how to add backgrounds in PS (this one I 'painted' using the airbrush) and for practise in removing the bg to leave the flower.

Not the easiest flowers to photograph, but you have excelled with this Hellebore, capturing the deep colours so well and in fine detail, the whole so nicely arranged within the frame.

Well done Fiona,this looks good.
The bg colours are nicely complimentary & not too strong.
Just a tad over exposed on the centre but the flowers form a nice diagonal across the frame. This would work ...and may be a stronger image...flipped too.
Some nice detail & colour...job sorted !! Wink

I like the way the light is shining through the petals and the leaves.
