I'm just a little blackbird
Learning how to fly
I nearly crashed in to this post
On my way up in the sky
I thought I'd take a breather
And rest my weary wings
But I'm about to lose my Balance
So I won't be able to sing
It looks a long way down to the ground
And very frightening too
Who will pick me up if I fall
God bless it might be you .
Have a great sunday horrible rain in the forest today
Thanks for v/c on my last uploads appreciate your time. Might get round everybodys today with a bit of luck.
A great capture Rob, before she takes off
Well captured Rob.......
How sweet! Blackbirds nest in the creeper on the side of our house, I watch the youngsters every year.
so sweet .......
A very good shot Rob, nice little poem also! you have an aptitude with that sort of thing, you should do a book of short poems!, well it's a thought?, but don't give up your photo's like it nice one detail top notch especially the eye and head, well done, regards Leon.
Well done - photographically and poetically
It becomes even sweeter with the poem, Rob.
there are a number of reasons I love this shot - firstly, I like you chose a slow enough shutter speed to show the movement - would not have been as effective if frozen.
I love the colours and the aperture you've chosen which has blended the background nicely and added to the movement
The birds eye and face is nicely focused adding to the feel of movement elsewhere.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my portfolio - always lovely to meet ephotozine members
A great well-timed capture Rob You deserve a bonus vote for the lovely poem too!
Super capture Rob, love the poem.
Love the shot, love the verse which reminds me of the time in Spain when we spent the fortnight chasing off feral cats who were Threatening the juvenile blackbird in our garden who was doing his on the ground stint in our woodpile and being fed by his dad.
Like the bit of movement in the wing and leg Rob.
Super image - love the poem.
Well timed capture Rob with good detail, Peter..
