Yes, it is daylily time in Maine now. Nearly every farmhouse has their collection in bloom, and the roadsides are vivid with them. I must admit I have indulged in them, also....they are planted all along the front of my property on the roadside. They take the most amazing abuse from the snow, the plowing and the road salt and still come back for more. A more sturdy plant one could not ask for!

I do love V1 though with that well exposed yellow - bags of detail and stunning flower.
