Another from my Calendar session with wannabe 'Madonna'
Face front this time & slightly leaning backward as Madonna was on the Album cover.I know it makes her look quite buxom but that was the pose we needed to try & recreate the look.
Lit with one softbox to her right & a triflector opposite & a drop more light on her face for this one.
Layers & textures added in Photoshop...but you knew that already Wink

Thankyou for taking the time to look/comment,always appreciated.
Janet xx

Hi Janet, I've done another mod, which I hope you like, but what I can't understand is, why do you take most of your shots in landscape? I would think with a portrait you would take it that way.

Hi Stephen, thanks for the mod,I do like the close crop but I'm afraid it has lost loads of detail, probably because of the small size uploaded in the first place.
To answer the question ref lanscape format...it's not intentional believe me,I do like portraits in portrait otientation, however, I think it's horses for courses & all depends on what I need to include in the frame. Here, the dress..or parts of it...are an integral part of the image, which if taken in portrait format I would not have been able to include.

Janet,
You are drawing us to the left eye with focus and the vignette -- all accomplished with such skillful adjustment of those "layers and textures."

Buxom? Maybe, but ever so much classier than Madonna's cone contraption.
This is another wonderful portrait.

Great portrait. Although you want to create a Madonna copy image, I want to crop just under the bust.
It probably isn't what you're trying to achieve but it would concentrate the viewer on her face.

PS The lighting looks great.

Lol Walter...we couldn't get the cones right for that one !! Wink

Kate,I see where you are coming from & yes it would probably make a better 'portrait' with a bit of a tidy up crop but,as you rightly say, that's not what I was going for on this set....another time maybe,if I can get my 'model' to do a return session.

Thanks everyone, your comments & votes are appreciated.
