Finally!! A half decent heron in flight. I have had opportunity but little good fortune until today. Usually the wings obscure the head so I am pleased with today's catch. TG

Beautiful shot TG. When I got my camera last year a heron in my local park was my subject but never managed one in flight, well envious.

Tony I have been trying myself to get one of these Heron's .They are so hard to get a real good shot of even standing.I have been chasing one for months I take the pictures and when I get home to really get a good look at them . Their just no good so I am happy for you and this one is very nice. Good job!
