...a wall of trees and a Glen between the house and these mountains, but just across the Loch there's the mountains behind the camera. The last time I shot anything near here the house didn't have the round house on the lochside it was just a normal rectangular building.

Who lives in a house like this?
Someone who's not afraid of being made to feel very small.

It's a pretty large house, and not that far from other homes, shops and the POLICE. FIRE and AMBULANCE are about a 1/4 mile away.

Spectacular piece of scenery Dougie. Probably quite a big house (which I wouldn't mind living in), but totally dwarfed by the mountains. Moira

Lovely wee bit of light and the house really gives it a sense of scale, nicely taken...

The house looks tiny against those hills Dougie. Lovely detail in them!

A fine Highland landscape, Dougie, and from a part of the country you visit quite often, and always a delight to view in your compositions.

The grandeur of the mountains emphasised by the size of the house in the foreground.

Dougie, the clarity in the mid section is outstanding, a very well balanced comp, nice work.
