My silly Sunday image, although I'm not sure all you arachnophobics will see it like this!!!....Hee hee What's more I've got a few more to post over the next few days of the same spider, so I'm fully expecting my votes to hit rock bottom by the end of the week!
Now the serious bit It's just a Common Garden Spider, that was exceptionally compliant and let me capture several large image stacks of it at x2 magnification. In this instance 65 images were taken and then it was stacked using ZereneZP 64bit and then the image was cleaned up using PSP4. Took about 7-8 minutes to shoot the stack, and about 6 hours work manipulating the final image to get it eventually looking like this. Spider was returned to the wild unharmed when I finished with it and no cooling or any other methods were used to subdue the spider, I was just very lucky. More to follow over the next couple of days, but I think this one is my favourite, I particularly liked how this one came out because of the symmetry to the image. Anyhow here's hoping I haven't frightened you all too much, many thanks to Ann (Pluckyfilly) for yesterday's UA and to everyone else for your kind comments.
