Hi everyone, many thanks for the C&C's on - Goodbye Asu. He has arrived safe and sound in France and according to WHF reports enjoyed a meal of rabbit and exploring his new environment. As some of you said, he's an important part of ensuring that another tiger species does not go extinct. Even if in the wild it's looking extremely bad, he and his brother willl hopefully produce offspring to keep Sumatran tigers alive.

Today an image from our recent trip with a small group of EPZers to Highate Cemetery. Despite living about half an hour away I'm afraid this was our first visit, however it won't be our last! This urn just appealed and V2 is the mono of the same.
Have a good week all and thanks for looking.
Barbara

I enjoyed the lovingly tended neglect if that makes sense - this captures the feel of the place very well. And the mix of aged artefacts and fresh green ivy everywhere.

Difficult choice - but I think that the added green of the leaves makes v1 my favourite. I smile as I imagine your little group - "oh lets go to the graveyard" - how exciting cvan that be !!!! -can only happen with an epz group !!!

A lovely image, nicely captured. I prefer the coloured version today.
I hope that Asu is happy in his new home!

V1 for me. Like the greens and the texture in the marble.

Going with the flow today, Really like the tones of the urn offset by the perfect green of the ivy.

More damaged here than ''grotty'' Barbara.
Good spot in the undergrowth.

The mono tempts me because somehow it seems so right, but I do love those little fresh green shoots in V1, so that gets my vote.
BTW I recently read Audrey Niffenegger's Her Fearful Symmetry. A rather unusual read and not everyone's cup of tea, but it was set in and around Highgate Cemetery with masses of background info and history - fascinating stuff and makes me want to visit. Terry was born and brought up in the area, so it's old hat to him!!

The colour version, I think. I never knew how well green and granite pink went together.

Excellent shot Barbara, superb textures and colours, for me it has to be V1, although I do like V2 as well.
