A beautiful Glen at any time of the year and with the summery weather favouring you here that day, Dougie.

No shortage of water in Scotland Dougie and our hosepipe ban has been lifted ( surprise..surprise ) Cyrstal clarity and a suggestion of warmth.

A bonny composition, Dougie, but it's the superb tones and detail in water and stones that steal the show.

That's a beautiful looking stretch of water, Dougie. How lucky you were to have that sky above you, it makes all the difference. I suspect that water is colder than the bright and sunny appearance suggests.

The water is something special Dougie because of that reflective sky you so skilfully captured.

The clouds make it for me but also the deliciously clear water. In Assynt the lochs and rivers are really low - they haven't had rain for about six weeks and everywhere it sooo dry underfoot. Strange old weather we're having!

Beautiful clear water Dougie, could just paddle my feet in there. How lucky are you getting a lovely blue sky too. Moira

Moira you would have whipped your tootsies out in a hurry, freezing straight out a deep mountain reservoir loch.

Excellent depth in this Dougie....and oh for some of that blue sky and fluffies right now - damp dank, blackness down here...the opposing valley has not been seen for days.
