When I took this image, i am not to much give attention to the sun because of i really impressed with the clouds. So i do not realize when the sun start to go up from the hill and make an over exposed on that part.

The light part on the right hill is where are the hill exploited for the rock. you will maybe surprise if you see another side of the hill where almost all part of hill had been exploited.

I am thinking to make it more dark and cropping the bottom side. any comment and critique welcome.

And thank you for all of comment on my last upload. Smile

Too much featureless foreground. If the sky was so good, I'm not sure why you didn't include more. You can crop a lot of darkness and still have the hills to 'anchor' the photograph.

Unfortunately, you don't have a good silhouette to put against the sky here. You need a strong, interesting shape, as the sky is seldom interesting enough in itself.
A step or two to the right would have sorted the sun out.

The sky is not really special enough to stand on it's own. You needed a bit more drama and colour in it with some type of foreground object to act as a main subject.
