Our first camp at Mikambi, beside the Kafue river. Directly beneath the resturant area, a Hippo. This individual was a male, expelled from the pod by the resident male his life may have been as a wanderer. It even managed to visit the resturant on occasions !! Apparently accepted by the management of the camp, he was around our tent most evenings !!

Stealthily slipping through the water just his nose and eyes above the water, forgetting that he has a huge body coming along behind. A tremendous POV making this a grand and wonderful animal image Ron.
