What a superb subject. Technically very well managed other than his face. Just a tiny bit of dodging to lift it a bit. That face is the subject and it needs to be a bit more noticeable. Beautifully done otherwise.

Are his eyes actually open?

Sad, telling image, well taken given a number of constraints. It's not the sort of situation where you don't want to spend a lot of time taking the shot, for fear of disturbing him and other people. Discretion is the first requirement. And the strong light from the window on the left will have limited the angles available. Assuming that this was hand held, you have a steady pair of hands!

The exposure on the face looks fine to me, all I would change would be to rotate so that Christ is not tilting backwards; and crop a little, keeping pretty well the same proportions but getting rid of some of the wood at the bottom and the half figure on the right. On the basis of less is more. I'll try a Mod.
