When I saw this elderly couple walking towards me, I was immediately compelled to shoot a photo. Walking like this, they conveyed a message of the persistence of love, so I took the picture to record the moment.

I think when two people really love each other, they see beyond age, looks and problems, and simply keep going strong. This is what I thought when I saw this couple, and I hope the picture makes you reflect on that too. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Moira, I'm glad you like this. I'm also "breaking" the rules a bit here, with the negative space behind them rather than in front of them (in the direction they're walking). In this case, I believe this helps isolate the subjects more, making their connection more "intimate" in a way, as we are left behind, so to speak. Just how I see it anyway.

Im not sure that message is love either! Tolerance, patience and persistence come to mind!

The composition works well, as the woman is looking back and not out of the frame.

This could be you one day!

Haha... good one Willie. I guess we all perceive things that are foremost in our minds, and with my wedding coming up, I guess I can be forgiven for being a bit soppy with my interpretations hehehe.

Thanks for the mod - I like it. Subtle improvements, but improvements nonetheless! Smile
