With the help of my brother David, who decided to look through as I was about to take the shot. Happily for me.
I really like this...good original work!
i like this
Very different and original, I like this a lot, click
Wow - this is intriguing. No idea what you were doing but it makes for a very interesting image.
Weird . It certainly is an interesting image. I like it. Click.
Another interesting image Eric, keep seeing them, cos I don't ;o) Click.
Stunning image, I can't remember where, but I have seen an image very similar to your one above, back when I was studying at Art school, I think it was film related or Abstract/surreal, very interesting shot, looks great in B&W, brilliant.
Very clever shot, has got a real ghostly feel to it,would make a great dvd or cd cover.
Thanks Jill, Alex, Lydia, Paul (Groom), Paul (fairly tall), Margaret, Yogendra and Mark, great to have your comments. Anyone interested in how the image was created might like to look in the top right corner of my previous upload for a clue.
Haha .. Get it ... but why were you under the table ;o)
Aha very clever and original Eric, you hadn't been drinking had you!lol. Super image.
Strange but somehow very good. Click.
Unusual but effective.
Great texture to the image Eric - open to interpretation! - steve
Thanks Margaret, Mary, Kevin, Ken and Steve. I wasn't actually under the table, just the camera was. I held it out at arm's length and used the auto focus. Only one attempt and this is it...rather lucky.
Very interesting image. I love it!
Very effective B&W image Eric.
Thanks Pablo and John, good to hear from you both.
Love the 'air of mystery' from your brother being in the shot.
Thanks David, glad you like it.
very unusual, nice and graphic, click (*:*)
it looks so simple yet is so striking. click
Thanks Magda and David, good to have your comments.
Great Eric. The stark contrast from the almost TV-like appearance of your brother through the glass and the in focus silhouette of his (mad) hair through the hole is very pleasing to the eye.
I'm looking at it and thinking a crop of the white on the right side may improve it (at work, no way of knowing for sure) but then that might mess with the off-centre hole which is balanced as it stands.
Hmm.. I don't know. Either way I like this a lot.
Thanks for your detailed critique Malcolm, glad you stopped for a look.
Saved it and played with cropping various margins on either side (hope you don't mind - I deleted it afterwards) but it does leave it looking wrong if cropped. Your original is the best I think
Thanks Malcolm, that's good to know.
This is superb. Makes you look twice.
Cheers Hudson, great to hear from you.
Wonderful shot, Eric.....and I like the new portfolio portrait as well.
Thanks Amy. The portfolio portrait was taken by my brother David, with my crop and bw conversion.
Very original composition - well thought out!
Thanks Jim, you've certainly caught up on my portfolio!
just seen this, missed it first time round
excellent, really like it
Thanks Fergus, good to hear from you.
interesting shot but I like it
