Hey Ephotoziners ![]()
I've finally acquired my Holga 120 film camera, and these are some (test) shots from a series of images around London - including Trafalgar Square and Southbank.
About Holga Photography:
The Holga is an inexpensive, medium format 120 film toy camera, made in China, known for its low-fidelity aesthetic.
The Holga's low-cost construction and simple meniscus lens often yields pictures that display vignetting, blur, light leaks, and other distortions. The camera's quality problems have obtained a cult following among some photographers, and Holga photos have won awards and competitions in art and news photography.
I bought the camera so that I could also experiment with multi-exposures, which I haven't tried yet.
It's a very fun camera, I hope you enjoy these images:
V1 - Portrait of a Southbank Performer
V2 - Southbank Performer and Child
V3 - Trafalgar Square
