B&W conversion of an old photo
Beautiful mono landscape.
Oh wow that sky is superb Jenni. Composition excellent with that fence leading us to the castle and that sky. Superb mono conversion. Brilliant.
Jennie, Fantastic image which looks great in mono
Great conversion....that sky is so dramatic , great composition Jenni
Like how all the 'lines' in both sky and in land seem to emanate from the subject: excellent shot and the B and W presentation looks so appropriate.
Was the sky for real
Makes a great mono
Quote: Was the sky for real
Makes a great mono
Yes Barbara, the sky was real but I used a Lee Circular Polariser
Strong mono Jenni, good contrasts.
A great mono image..
A classic but with that sky it becomes a winner.
A splendid image & works so well in mono.
St Michael's Mount?
This works so very well in mono - a truly fab image.
A fabulous mono!
A Lee circular polariser - that explains a lot!
Fantastic image Jenni - drama in the sky highlighting the ruins.
Nice composition !!!
Beautiful use of leading lines here.
Some of the detail looking a tad aggressive on my screen, though...
Certainly beautiful with the lovely lead into the image
but the sky..really sets off perfectly
A stunning capture of this beautiful location, Jenni, with good lead-in lines towards the castle, including from that amazing dramatic sky too
Lovely shot !!.......great effect from all the radiating features !!
That's a bit special Jenni...great conversion. The mono really suits.
I think it's all been said above, but truly stunning image.
Nice compo and a stunning sky
A real gem.
