Hockney supports Salts Mill in Saltaire. He has many of his paintings there.
Must admit my favourites are his drawings in his school books when he was young.

Weekend yet again...It comes along too quickly.
Enjoy..... but cant see the barbies coming out.

Very good converging lines disappearing to the right, Barbara, and some very soft complementary light shining through the windows. I didn't even see the tog standing there at first!

V1 for me, so full of atmosphere and quite intriguing. As for barbies, more likely to be paddling about the garden for me!!

V1 for me too Barbara, but both great images... Our garden is still mostly under a few inches of water, so even if it was sunny, we'd be BBQing in the kitchen!!! Have a great weekend.

Lovely atmospheric shot in V1 and a great montage in V2. They are so kind about letting you photograph the paintings in Salts Mill, quite unlike the stuffy London Galleries. Must make the effort to go just down the road to visit it again.

Indeed difficult lighting conditions, Barbara, but a good atmospheric, almost moody capture in v1.

good work Barbara on the lighting front, compensated well for the lack of light and the togg blocking out one of the windows does not help TongueTongue dont think the barbies will out up here either grey and miserable. Talking of greys i like the grey painted walls but again that makes your shot more difficult but shows of the paintings well.

Have a good weekend
