Although very centrally placed, the upper part of Glen Lyon remains well off the tourist trail and this apparent remoteness seems to coming across in this view for me, Dougie.
Having climbed the hillside, your view takes in a broad stretch of the valley, the homestead and cars allowing an appreciation of scale.

I think this sky will resemble the ones forecast for my weekend away Sad. Mind you any sky would be nice just now - just mist and fog.
