Well, these aren't exactly home made, but probably the most expensive bread rolls I've ever bought from a local bakery, so before they were consumed they had to have a leading role (Wink) in this image. Comments and criticisms are very welcome and mods are enabled.
Many thanks for your enthusiastic response to Sunlight and to those of you who awarded your cherished UAs - all thanked already by PM.
Ann
PS - they were delicious! Tongue

Excellent colour harmony and the wall is a perfect texture for the flour. Could the spoon be positioned so it was pointing into the middle with the handle towards the bottom left corner, or is that just being picky. Just bought our seeded baton from Sainsbury's for consumption shortly Smile

I love this one Ann - as Dave says the colour harmony is lovely.
The rolls look delicious and the wholemeal flour bag is perfect.
We never heard how you got on with the food competition at your club and what image
you finally ended up with after all your trials and tribulations.
This could do well as a club entry.

Firstly, thank you for the chance to have a play with this great still life image, i can never come up with the ideas to take shots like this.
using cs3 levels i set white point to the whitest part of the spoon, then increased the contrast, then added a vignette after masking the white frame, hope you like the result and cheers for letting us have a go.
Anthony.

I like this Ann - good still life subjects. I hope you did some alternatives with arrangements.
I think there are a few options especially with the spoon - don't think it's in the best position but that's only my preference.
I think you need to address that bottom RH corner - the mono triangle does not seem to blend in with the rest of the image as it's not the same level as the coloured work top - the shadow of the bag is cut off abruptly too.
Hope that helps.
Brian.

It's a wonderfully rusting image Ann with great detail throughout. I like the mod not so much for the punchier colours, but the vignette seems to pull the image together.

Think the spoon needs to be a bit more prominent. As it is now, it adds little to the image.
