Received my Canon 600D during the week and today I ventured out for a stroll and a test. Various images, most of them manually focused too!
Yip there was a lot of hit and miss but there was also a few surprises when I got home. Have to say this is definitely a step up from my Pana FZ30 but I also found that whereas I could zoom forever with the FZ30 I erm very quickly realised that 50mm is not very far! Next lens was going to be the cheap but well applauded Canon 50mm 1.8. Nope I know what I need and will be going in the opposite direction.

Anyway, a few tweaks etc but here is my first upload from my new camera.
