Taken yesterday at Singleton Park Botanical Gardens, this is a cactus of some kind.

The yellow throat of this flower seemed to glow, almost as if it had its own light deep inside.

Ive posted the full image in the MODs

This is a fantastic macro shot. Colours are vibrant which caught my eye straight away in the thumbnail. Clarity, colour and DoF are executed very well. Excellent job!
