Evening all,

Thanks for the brilliant response to last nights upload. So here is the next from Honnister - this time having taken a couple of steps to the left! It's a re-take of a shot I got last year, was just curious to see how it would compare, am fairly happy with it but annoyed that I didn't use my tripod on the day - it was quite windy, so none of the shots are as crisp as I would have liked! Quite liked the mono version of this.

Be brilliant if you could let me know what you think, good or bad. Thanks for looking, as ever large is best!

Chris

2 corking images. When you view the first one you can feel the fresh air ouzing from it. Chaz.

Another lovely crisp and detailed composition from the Honnister Pass. The f/g slate contrasts so well with the winter colours on the fellside, and there is a good balance between sunlit and shadowed areas. I'd have been so happy had this shot been one of mine.
Ronnie.

Thanks Ronnie, very kind words indeed! These are in fact spring colours, this was taken a couple of weeks back. It's an interesting landscape as it looks so bleak yet so beautiful at the same time.

Thanks again,

Chris
