First of all, apologies for the lack of clicks and comments for the last 2-3 days, our telephone line threw a wobbly and I was without the internet since early Saturday morning. It has just come back, and hopefully won't go again, as we are having horrendous thunder and lightning right now and the electricity keeps cutting out.
Today's upload is a small hornet that I saw yesterday in the meadow.

If this is a small hornet I wouldn't like to meet a big one. Wonderful detail here Carol with beautiful rendition of the hornet's wings as well as the white petals.

Wow Carol, this was worth waiting for.Absolutely stunning detail.
Only three more sleeps till Xmas, can't wait. We have got one of our Grandsons(tinybrad on EPZ) staying from Xmas eve till late boxing day, so I am looking forward to some fun.
