Wanted to get near the finishing line to get the best shot of the horse and jockeys working hard. However the pro snapper wasn't happy with me being there so I had to pretend to walk away further up the track. I dashed back to the fence as they got near so had to make do and mend. Interested in any thoughts on composition etc. Thanks

Your shutter-speed priority has given you too large a depth of field by forcing you down to f5.6, even though you're only at 235mm. Your horizon needs levelling, as indicated by the non-vertical floodlight poles. Also, the slightly-encroaching rail is a bit of a distraction.
That's all the negatives I have.
Positives? It's well composed and has caught the moment very well. With a few tweaks I'm sure the next ones will be even better. Smile
