A brief description on this image: this women, maybe in her late 70's was coming back home after a long very hot day working her land.
This time of the year looks very busy in the country side of Romania when people engaged in this sort of work will spent about 12 hours (sometimes maybe more than that) on weeding, planting, watering their lot that is supposed to provide food for the next coming months or even over the winter. It's a very important task for these people.
I was walking this very quiet country road when I spoted her sihloutte in the distance coming towards me.
She used to stop every 10 metres to take another fresh breath.I took her photograph when she was probably 50 metres away from where I was.
Then when she walked alongside my station place.I only said "Hello!" and she answered me the same.Afterwards silence and the hot breze covered again the whole area.

P.S. I hope you'll enjoy this image as much as you did in the last few days since I've started uploading images of the most recent holiday that I took in Romania earlier this month.

It hasn't been quite a brief description in the end but anyway,THANK YOU ever so when you find time to rest around commenting or simply voting.

Best regards!

The skin tone might look a little "cold" but this is because of the reflection of her navy blue clothing on her own skin (forearms and face).I've just decided to not change it at all;to keep the natural feeling of this image.
Many thanks!

beautiful photo ovidiu. Looks like a hard life, but then again not, as 'hard' is the only way they have ever known... if that makes sense. beautiful light btw, and it frames her so well.
find her skin tones not looking cold at all. actually it feels a bit less saturated than in previous shots, which suits it better IMO. More natural
