A really excellent shot. Deserves a lot more attention.

The bag makes this objective but not voyeuristic. Neither the bag nor the tramp has a face. The textures of torso and sleeping bag are so similar but light years apart.
And I just cannot imagine it in colour. There are times when b&w is truth, colour would be false.

Thanks everybody. This image is possibly one of the most satisfying photographs I have ever taken. I'm a little disappointed that it's scored so very poorly. IN fact, this is the worst voted image that I've ever had. It actually made silver in the January SWPP monthly competition but then again, it's not got a semi clad female draped over the other side of the bench, so maybe I was a little too optimistic that it would go down well on ephotozine. MrsWoolybill.. there is a slightly different version in colour which you can view on my website below, however, i agree, the B&W, particularly with a little HDR drew phenomenal levels of detail all the way down to the dirty fingerprints on the coffee cup. Anyway, I really enjoy the feedback, so thank you very much. Lee.

A very striking and evocative street scene image! Yes, I'm surprised this hasn't had more clicks. The trouble is it is not a bird, butterfly or floral image.......you would have had your RC by now! Smile

Great tones and composition!

Cheers

Phil
