I like the image, it's different to other room with a view type pictures. I would have done a bit in post processing to increase the shadows and lift the highlights a bit. This will give more contrast to the picture. See my modification.

Hi Ian, - something to do on a rainy day! You have the background nicely out of focus. The apartments looks like toy blocks. Needs just what Ian said, and some sharpening. I have loaded a mod and have done something similar, but not quite the same as Ians, - more contrast and sharpened.

Dont forget you need to sharpen your re sized image before uploading. So re size, save as, open, sharpen, save, then upload.

regards

Willie

Hi Ian,

I'm of the same opinion as Ian and Willie, it's just needs a little lift.

Two simple adjustments in your blend modes would give you a slightly different image. First make a copy and in your blend modes select "Overlay" which makes dark colours darker and light colours lighter then make another copy and this time in your blend modes select "Screen" which brightens the image. Remember you can always reduce the opacity if the effect is to strong. In the mod I left the opacity of both adjustments at 100%.

Take care
Martin

great idea, like the composition and the raindrops but i think a little more contrast would be an improvement and the rain drops need to be as sharp as possible for maximum effect.
