This little sparrow was hiding in the spindly branches from Charlie the cat. I am going to enter the nhm wildlife photographer of the year and am trying to photograph different sorts of wildlife.

go for it Manni but it takes a lot of patience and waiting around for the right shot, good luck - dont forget the tripod its essential in getting a sharp shot and you will be up against lots of good photographers, wondered where you were lately with not posting

I was really busy and have been recovering from toenail surgery, thats why I have not been posting. I used my tripod in this shot.

This is a good start - the problem is all those branches have got in the way of your subject and taken the focus away from it. The bird is slightly soft.

Good luck with getting 'the' image for the competition. I do hope you are going to enter our Junior Competition on Saturday! Smile

A good start, but it would be nice to see more of the bird - keep practising Smile
