Many thanks for the CC's on my last upload.
A couple of weekends ago I went to visit my family on their farm near Winchester. The idea was to have a couple of quiet, relaxing days off which I desperately needed and to spend some time taking shots of flowers in the lovely garden.
I stepped out next morning in fine weather - there were hoverflies everywhere in startling numbers! I took a shot of the first rose I came across (V1) to document this, then wandered off to try and achieve a shot of honeysuckle that looked elegant and lovely - one of my long term failures. I took (V2) what I felt was a reasonable shot (for me) only to discover that I had been hacked by a hoverfly (V3).
I went off to try the Clematis but things were getting worse (V4) so I went to find the lily's (V5) and I finally gave up and took a few pictures of Hoverflies (V6).
Hope you like them. A
