Good morning....
Thank you for the votes and great comments on my desert plants and a big thank you to Christine (Cookie monster) and Nezih (Nonur) for their UA's....much appreciated.
I was watching the flamingoes foraging for food, it looks like they are dancing as they move their legs back and forth to loosen the sea bed, they then dive in with their heads and come out with crabs. This day a seagull swooped down to join two flamingoes, much to the ones annoyance. He patiently floated next to them. His patience paid off as sometimes they dropped a crab and he was as quick as lightening to snap it up, see last 3 versions .... thought I would upload the story for silly Sunday but I think its rather cleverGrin
Have a nice day...Grin

I also thought they were filter feeders with Colleen so it is interesting to know they take crabs. This is a great series showing how different species benefit from each other - although I think the gull did most benefiting here.

A great sequence of images telling a story, Colleen Smile I like the way the seagull is looking on curiously in V1 & V2...but then we see what seagulls are good at - stealing the food from under your nose (I know, it's happened to me! Sad)

I liked very much your little movie in 8 steps! It can be an excellent satirical film: there are many among us, who lie in wait on the diligent and hardworking men and at the appropriate moment take them fruits of their labor. With such gulls it is possible that poor flamingos become starving! Unfortunately, scenes like this more often seen in humans!

What a wonderful sequence of natural history images telling us a story Colleen, excellent reportage. It is fascinating to watch these birds behaviour and see the interaction between the two. That flamingo must be a bit gullible allowing the freeloading seagull to pinch his/her lunch!Wink
