Lillian this is a grand image well composed and captured , sometimes like here I suspect we have no control over the background. My mod today simply clones out the "blob" and took poetic licence and kept the green theme going down the side. Upped the midtones a bit too hope you like it Colin

Yeah I kept the eyelash for the first attempt but it didnt look right I am still getting to grips with layers, though at the angle of the shot you dont really notice them too much specially as there are the lower whiskers Smile Colin

Now that's what I call a cat! A beauty!
I hated snow before all this was dumped on us.

No more snow here, but the black ice out there makes it 10 times worse to walk on!
A superb close-up capture, Lillian, just has to be viewed large.

Nice close up shot with very good detail and bg blur.
For me I think that colmar did a great job and even without the eye lashes it looks great.
But imho I don't feel that the blob has taken away from your image as the lion is the subject and my eyes are pulled straight to the lion.
Just my view on the image.
Have a great day.
Lee

Love the potential in this lovely shot so I played with it, fixed bits and placed it in and out of a new frame. If you want to know exactly how I did it, message me.

I'm not unduly fussed about snow but I hate the black ice that has ground everything to a halt around here!

OH WOW!
I knew someone had the talent to give this shot their all.... Lynne, I truely thank you it is wonderful,
don't you all agree?
Colin did a great job only no lady should be without her lashes, but this is what I wanted,
a 'proud moment' for me

This is a superb image Lillian, very well captured. Excellent Mods too!
The snow is thawing here, but it has left what remains extremely slippery!

Great close up, composition, lovely contact in the eye, altogether a lovely portrate.

Just bought a Canon 55-250mm, looks like you are doing well with it.

It took only a few minutes to do my up load, it takes time to do it really well, there is no problem if you can work on the copy of the original keeping the first shot as your template, copying fine hairs is no problem you need just to expand the picture and use the tools in PS when they look like going round tree trunks! I have spent that time and to the shot I have included my own hairs added by the clone tool! -Please e-mail me if you need any instructions as they may take too much time on here - regards Paul
