This little tweet must be an escapee, the Zebra Finch is a native of Indonesia and East Timor and can be seen in Australia, they are kept in this country in Aviary's by specialist breeders and enthusiasts.........such beautiful birds, this one appeared out of the blue stayed for a few moments and then took off for the wild blue yonder..............GrinGrin

The colours are spot on for this male bird, they are very nice little finches good detail hope he survives the winter, I had one hundred and twenty of these little birds some years ago, they lived outside all year round sadly I had to give them all away due to my heart condition. nice photo love it, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
