....went looking for pond life this morning - they was about but in the middle of the pond they kept landing. It's not deep I thought, wade out a little and see if I can get closer. Um, who forgot his wellies leaked.....arrrgh. Got a couple of shots but nearly took a dip in the pool as i sucked my tripod out of the mud - wouldn't have been good with my nice new lens on would it. Gave up the tripod and went hand held after that. Grin

Another spectacular close view of the life around the pond, wellies are the least expensive part of a photographers kit but it seems the hardest to replace. How soon will you buy a new pair for £50 or so and put your feet into warm dry boots and wade in with confidence, and protect all that expensive camera equipment .

I am finding it rather nice atm Andy...now - seriously thinking of going down to one camera and just 3 lens - makes it esy to choose then when i go out..lol
