This image as captured around the same time as I took the one of Julie as shown in yesterdays upload. It's a very simple yet quite emotive image, depicting a rather dilapidated bicycle, who just needs a quick service, and a bit of TLC to get in back on the road. Which in many ways is a paradigm, to my own emotional and physical well-being. And as for the introductory lines of the 'classic' Queen song 'I want to ride my bicycle', just sum up how I am feeling every now and then.
Regards Nathan

I knew it was yours frm the thumbnail.
You found the perfect 'vehicle ' to xpress your feelings and the situation in a masterpiece of typesetting. An art often neglected by the lovers of Arial convenience.
The result is very special and deserves my award.
Great song ... singing it now.
Sadly I dont have the balance any more to ride my wonderful "sit up and beg" red bike......
In the Nederlands where I lived it was called an oma.... grandmothers bike.
still singing,,,,,
have a good weekend!
OH .. BY THE WAY I LOVE THIS IMAGE
Lovely image and sentiment, Nathan. I am a bit worried you might go onto find an image from the other song on this double A side - "Fat Bottomed Girls" ![]()

when you express yourself in images that is art. Keep up the great work. Love the image and the meaning to it. ![]()
A wonderful expression .
yesterday only I saw little boy was pushing a bicycle in a supermarket, as gifted by his father who was just signing the bill .I too felt the joy of owning a bicycle by noticing the bright eyes. As I never owned one in my childhood days.
Very well seen and captured. I love the muted quality of the image, and the fact that you refer to the bicycle as a 'who', not a 'what' (and yes, I have looked at your portfolio and so am familiar with the struggles that you've faced - you're a very brave and deep soul; never forget that). For me, the image itself and the superimposed words become all the more poignant if I cover up the title you've put bottom right ... the words speak for themselves, and don't need the extra title.
I don't think Freddie would have ridden far on that bicycle!
A fine capture and excellent creation, Nathan ![]()
Keep your chin up, and take care,

Queen - my favourites. Freddie was my hero. But I think you should adopt 'Don't stop me now' as your signature tune. Your images go from strength to strength, and sometimes show us some of the lows, but that is your wonderful creativity coming to the fore.
I love to drive along on a sunny day (whatever that is), cd on - usually loud, window down, and belt out that song, or another favourite is 'I want to break Free'. Get some strange looks, and liable to get myself a speeding ticket too one of these days ![]()
.
Buy a tandem and put Julie in front, LOL. Don't tell her I said!
Great image btw.

I think our Mick would love to ride this old bicycle down to his local pub, it is suitably grotty and weathered enough to suit him down to the ground
Nice one Nathan. Browsing your PF the thumbnail caught my eye as an interesting pic without knowing about the text. The pic stands up on its own but the text makes it so much more. Best of light, Si.
