Like a cupful of ice cold milk settling on an icy landscape. One wonders how these trees will survive the winter.

thanks for looking... helen x

PS I've added a version for Mike and Brian with the top chopped off... thoughts? helen x

Hi Helen.
Just wondering have a tried chopping out the very top of your photo, because for me your last 2/3 of the photo is just wonderful, great exposure and yes a lovely milky feel.
Just a thought.
Mike.

Hi Mike,

Yep, I've had the top in and the top out. The trouble is that the tree on the right slips into the top bit and looks very choped off if you cut the top of the picture off, and for me it's the contrast between the two that makes the image; if that makes any sense whatsoever?? Thanks for the kind comments. helen x
