With even a tiny patch of blue sky. Not as sharp as I had hoped but it is a dull day and I feel a bit dull too. How is the black background?

Love the way you have added the touch of blue, Maureen, a super idea Smile Looks good against the black, too. Carol

The colour works wonderfully against the black Maureen, however the relatively large aperture of f/4.5 has blow out the edges a little especially on the right hand side. If you had selected a smaller f/stop such as f/9 or even smaller you could have increased your Shutter Speed and would have in turn got a more rounded in focus image. The image I posted the other day was captured at f/9 with a 1 second exposure using nothing more that a tripod and the available light.
