This is one of my OHs Gaboon vipers, we will be spending part of tomorrow cleaning out and feeding out 30+ venomous snakes, hopefully I will get more nice photos for you all too.

You must be screaming mad to work with all those hissing Sids. There's no way that I would go within a mile of 'em. Great images though. Andy

Wonderful series. It is a pity your thumbnail is not clear as to what this image is as it deserves a lot more attention.

This is a really challenging set of images for me, being objective, they are technically super shots, but in my heart, all I can see is horrible ugly snakes, and I know that does them a disservice, but that is how I feel about them.

Superbly taken, but don't like the subject!

Great photo Zar, snakes always make for great details in a photo if somewhat dangerous to get close to. Rather you than me Tongue

Its such a shame but lots of people do feel that way. There is nothing I love more than teaching someone about reptiles and watching their fascination grow as they learn more.

Excellent set of shots; love the POV of #2 shwoing off the horn, but #5 and #6 are my favourites where the shallower DOF has given great backgrounds

B. Gabonica, a few snakes with excellent camouflage. Is it East African or West African Sub-Species that you have?
