Weather closing down on walkers In A Highland Glen.
A stunning view Ronnie, wish I could walk along this path..Lin
Excellently composed capture with the path and walkers leading you in to the valley Ronnie, the yellow of the wild flowers giving excellent foreground interest with the background full of atmosphere.
Good DOF in a lovely Highland scene.
I love the gorse in f/g - it adds so much
to our landscapes.
Great landscape , Ronnie - like your composition
Cracking detail and colours ronnie a wonderful moody capture nice one
Wonderful image Ronnie. Great dof and the walkers add a sense of scale to the scene
Great composition and subtle tonal range,
What you do so well, a story in a frame, Somebody's gonna get wet!........
It's no good I'm gonna have to get my butt up to Scotland this winter I think.....
Superb landscape Ronnie. The flowers in the foreground makes it. Deep
Mist and gorse look positively charming in this lovely view. The path Leeds through the charming composition to the lake, almost hidden in the mist. A beauty.
Right now I can hardly see the other end of the garden... And it is not for the weeds! Autumn mist I think
Atmospheric and beautiful scene.
The mist rolling in...........
A long walk for you Ronnie
beautifully lead into this atmospheric scene
you make it all look such a pleasure there
Lovely landscape Ronnie, very atmospheric, great composition too
A very lovely scene Ronnie - certainly a "I wish I was there" scene - like the composition on this one with the path leading you into the valley beyond
If I was walking there at that moment .... the camera would be going back in to the rucksac .. with waterproof cover well on...
It's all been said, Ronnie. The tantalising lead in that disappears round the bend then goes on into the mists of the glen, the gorse and wall give the foreground interest and contrast with the misty distance, and the figures for scale. Some strong diagonals and the yellow/green colour scheme makes a well-balanced and beautiful scene despite the weather conditions.
" Drich " as you say, atmospheric here
Great lead-in and such glorious colours, but summing up weather condtions in Scotland at the moment rather well! I actaully managed a day of gardening on Sunday when the sun broke through and it didn't rain until evening but we're back to the standard this morning. Bah!!
Great landscape Ronnie,
fine atmospher in the distance Ronnie no need to mist it today nature has done its work ...good comp the path leading inot the valley beyond the walkinf figure give scale and the f.g gprse adds a splash of colour nice one
Good comp with a nice lead into the shot, good DOF, nice moody feel about it, good colours
Typical Scottish weather Ronnie !!
The WHW in all it's glory Ronnie, hope you didn't walk all the way to Fort Wiliam.
can just imagine myself walking that path Ronnie grt image
As a recent visitor to Scotland I can really appreciate this excellent image. The gorse in May was spectacular wherever we went.
Superbly captured and a great comp Ronnie, excellent work mate.
Looks typical Highlands summer weather! But the mistiness has worked well for you Ronnie, and gives the scene a feeling of depth. I'd love to be wandering along that path, grey weather or no grey weather!
Lovely scene Ronnie, that's a bit like Cornish Mist, very well captured.
Great scene Ronnie. The gorse always stands out on a misty day.
Lovely photo and well composed Ronnie. I will be in Melfort on from the 25th August might be the week before as well.
Great atmosphere Ronnie, can almost feel the dampness just by looking into the picture.
You make it look so appealing Ronnie even tough the weather was against you.
very nice scene Ronnie.
Puts my few landscapes to shame
Just about perfect Ronnie
Very mistily interesting walk path through the mountains…
I love the limited colour palette, and it's simplicity. Nice one Ronnie !
Great shot Ronnie........looks beautiful
Beautifully composed and captured landscape Ronnie. If I had taken it I might have been tempted to clone out the fence posts - I have a pet hate of wire fences which,I admit, is quite neurotic! A
A very atmospheric landscape Ronnie, that sky looks ominous. I know how these walkers feel, I got caught out on Cleeve Hill yesterday with epzer Looloobey and her husband Paul and we got thoroughly soaked!
