Excellently composed capture with the path and walkers leading you in to the valley Ronnie, the yellow of the wild flowers giving excellent foreground interest with the background full of atmosphere.

Trev.

Mist and gorse look positively charming in this lovely view. The path Leeds through the charming composition to the lake, almost hidden in the mist. A beauty.
Right now I can hardly see the other end of the garden... And it is not for the weeds! Autumn mist I thinkSad

It's all been said, Ronnie. The tantalising lead in that disappears round the bend then goes on into the mists of the glen, the gorse and wall give the foreground interest and contrast with the misty distance, and the figures for scale. Some strong diagonals and the yellow/green colour scheme makes a well-balanced and beautiful scene despite the weather conditions.

Great lead-in and such glorious colours, but summing up weather condtions in Scotland at the moment rather well! I actaully managed a day of gardening on Sunday when the sun broke through and it didn't rain until evening but we're back to the standard this morning. Bah!!

Looks typical Highlands summer weather! Wink But the mistiness has worked well for you Ronnie, and gives the scene a feeling of depth. I'd love to be wandering along that path, grey weather or no grey weather! Smile

A very atmospheric landscape Ronnie, that sky looks ominous. I know how these walkers feel, I got caught out on Cleeve Hill yesterday with epzer Looloobey and her husband Paul and we got thoroughly soaked!
