After the shades of green in my last upload, this couple are almost mono. Caught the lady smiling, but her chap seems totally engrossed in something else across the square. Though I quite liked this shot, and it's almost impossible to avoid distracting backgrounds, I do find the man between the two figures a bit eye-catching Sad There's no way I could remove him, but have de-focussed him a little more.

The chap looks a bit worried Trev.
Reckon he has spotted his wife at the other end of the square !!
I knew there was more to all this wearing masks stuff that meets the eye !!
Good shot.
Mick.

I think your main man looks scarey looking
This image really does capture the feel of the carnival...

I reckon Mick is right about this one Smile
Actually I reckon that chap is ashamed of his fur hat as he needs a cloth one to cover the hole in the top . . . . .

Maybe it's Fabio Capello and he's worried that you have sussed Him! Ulrika seems to have aged bait. Wink

Nice shot Trev.

Is he a "Knight in White Satin"? Suppose it should be lace. A properly taken photograph.

I always find it amazing that so many of the shots we see of these costumed individuals are not 'contaminated' by sightseers and other photographers, Trev: but their presence does not really detract but adds a bit of natural atmosphere to the setting.

You just think you've got the perfect shot and someone is sure to bob up! The fella in the middle is not too distracting though as the main subjects certainly grqb the attention.

Judging by his intense expression, this man is a high ranking secret service officer on a mission. Good disguise! Lovely photo Trev.

Nice one Trevor. I understand how easy it is to miss someone wandering in and you don't see it. Done it loads of times.

A lovely capture Trev and the guy behind doesn't matter too much, the main characters are great enough to take the attention!

Two different facial expressions well shot Trev, then you also spot ''that'' chap in the middle
and a couple hugging..all adds to the Venice Carnival
