At last I captured a Gull in flight, quite a few last night, and have imaged these two, will do another and post later this morning.
I set the camera on Sports mode and Bracketed them, It will shoot 3F/Sec and managed to get a few good ones in the viewfinder. I can see that the 40/150 is not really the lense for this shooting and am saving to get the 70/300, sure that that one will do the job so much better, but just had to get this, and I am pleased I got a few.

V1 is particularly good, with the capture of the wing action.

Thanks for looking in and commenting, have looked over many shots and trying to suit the camera to the application at the moment, but can see there is more money to spend to start getting it right for shots like these, and I want to get into portraits and fashion shots soon...Hmmm must get cracking...Chen.
